Hi, I’m Michael
I’m a designer here at Thunderstruck Design. I was born and raised in Hillsboro Il, a small town about an hour north of St. Louis. I am a graduate of the Illinois State University graphic design program and I love logos, branding and all things visual.
Outside of the office, I can usually be found doodling, watching horror movies with my wife Anne (a fellow designer at Thunderstruck), or convincing myself that I can play guitar.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why? Never sleep. That’s an extra 1/3 of your life to re-watch old Simpsons episodes!
If you could master one skill you do not currently have, what would it be? Learning multiple languages. I barely made it through Spanish class.
If you had to fight 1 Horse sized Duck or 100 duck sized horses, which would you choose? Definitely 100 duck sized horses. A 2,000 pound duck is basically a dinosaur. Tiny horses are adorable. Also I could wait them out, horses can’t climb trees since they don’t have fingers. So do I want to be chased by a giant monster or surrounded by adorable little horses? I’ll take the horses.
If you could no longer work in the field that you currently do, what would you do? I would love to work in the Animation/Illustration Field. That or a highly paid dog walker, whichever opportunity comes up first.
