Ever since we rebranded as Thunderstruck, we often get the same question about our name. Is Rod a giant AC/DC fan?
The answer would be no (well, at least as far as I know.) In fact the name has nothing to do with the iconic metal band song at all. The name stemmed more from Rod’s affinity for meteorology and the concept of creative brainstorming… but that is a story for another day.
Although our name has nothing really do with the song, that doesn’t stop us from sharing some fun “Thunderstruck” covers around the office. My favorite, and one that has blessed our inbox a few times over the years, is from Finnish country cover band Steve’n’Seagulls.
I mean who doesn’t love hearing a heavy metal song being played on a banjo and accordion?
