Some of our favorite projects to work on involve working with a brand as a whole.

After a merger of three Illinois agriculture dealerships, AHW was one of the largest and best equipped John Deere dealerships in the Midwest. They needed a full identity to help carry their brand.
Over the last few years, we have helped them with everything from their logo and brand identity, website, print mailers, e-mail marketing, numerous videos, calendars, in-store environmental design for their 16 stores across Illinois and Indiana, and much more.

Due to their close ties to John Deere, they had to make sure that AHW’s image blended well with that brand, but stands out among its competitors.

It’s been a great experience to work with AHW because we can contribute to so many areas of their brand and make sure that everything is portrayed consistently.

Helping the growth:

As AHW grows, adding more locations across Illinois and Indiana, also grows the scope of work that we help them with.

Building the brand:

The symbol of the logo is comprised of a sphere and two triangles. Each point of the triangle symbolizes the three original companies founding families. Two triangles joined together denote the merger of the two companies, Arends and Hogan Walker. The sphere encompassing the triangles represents our planet and AHW’s commitment to providing “World Class” service to all of their customers.

Marketing Materials:

A few of the many forms of marketing that we work on for AHW include a regular series of mailers throughout the year supporting their equipment sales and servicing programs, email marketing, brochures, sales materials, environmental graphics, trade show designs and much more.

Annual Vintage Tractor Calendar:

A favorite piece of AHW’s customers is the vintage tractor calendar. Each year, many of AHW’s customers submit their tractors for a chance to be featured and show off their collection. We at Thunderstruck Design, travel across Illinois and Indiana photographing the chosen entries and meeting with the owners. We design a unique and engaging calendar which is not only useful but also promotional as it highlights various sales and events throughout the year. This calendar has been a great success and is anticipated by AHW’s customers every year.

AHW Website Design:

AHW’s website is a huge driving factor for their sales. We needed to make sure that we created a clean and responsive layout to direct their customers to their huge array of equipment and services offered through their site.

Video Production:

Over the last few years, we have worked with AHW on a number of videos for use on television commercials, promotion on their website and use in social media.
