Browsing the internet recently I discovered a website that combines two of my favorite things, well designed interactive websites and True Crime narratives.

I am one of those people who spends (probably) an unhealthy amount of time listening to true crime podcasts, watching documentaries and reality shows about true crime, and reading true crime books. Perhaps I am trying to prepare my lizard brain against the worst case scenario, or maybe it was because I grew up watching and reading horror and now the only thing that really terrifies me are the real stories of people being absolutely terrible. Either way, I am absolutely fixated.

So, as you can guess, I spend quite a bit of time in the true crime corner of the internet. That is where I stumbled upon this site:

www.sbs.com.au/aviolentact

This wonderfully designed one page site is an investigative report on the unsolved 2003 double murder of two Australian based Singaporean students. The site is not only well researched and fascinating in content, but also laid out beautifully with a experimental interactive interface that guides you through the dual perspective narrative. Definitely and unique new approach to your standard journal site, that I would highly recommend you take a moment and check out.
