Each year the Illinois Fire Service Institute holds a series of classes to help train
The Illinois Fire Service Institute serves as the State Fire Academy. They give new and continuing firefighters the practical and cognitive training needed to operate safely and effectively. IFSI focuses on an intense hands-on approach to firefighting, and distribute this calendar to Firehouses across the state to outline their available classes throughout the year.
